The Leadership Coaching process is built on a “Strengths-Based” Model, assisting highly valued leaders to enhance their leadership capacities. By assessing, planning and implementing strategies that enhance the use of their personal strengths, leaders are better able to respond effectively to the needs of the organization.

Working Well’s approach to coaching uses a targeted behavioral approach that differentiates us in two ways.  - First, we focus on a set of coaching principles that result in behavior change and not attitudinal differences. Second, since our coaches have real business experience, their coaching sessions focus on changes that need to be made in the workplace not just in the coaching session.

The coaching process occurs in three phases. The first is an assessment phase that includes formal and informal data gathering and concludes with an agreement between the coach and leader on a Personal Development Plan. The second phase is the engagement period where the leader’s skills and strengths are applied to improve effectiveness in their key roles.  Coaching may occur over a 3-6 or 9-month period depending on the issues and goals. The third phase of Leadership Coaching provides ongoing evaluation and support to the leader.
